We use the Loopcv email account (user'semail@loopcv.com) in order to avoid any complications because Google requires a specific permission for sending emails from your personal Gmail address. However, we have prepared a feature where you can use a custom smtp account, if you want.
If you are interested in using this feature you can follow these steps:
First of all, you need to turn on the 2-Step Verification on your Gmail. You can find some help here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185839?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
Secondly, you need to create an App password from your Gmail settings. This will be used later on, during the SMTP setup on your Loopcv account. This guide will provide assistance: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en
When you complete the above requirements, follow these simple steps:
1. Visit this link: https://app.loopcv.pro/profile/smtp
2. Gmail SMTP server address: Host: smtp.gmail.com & Port: 587
3. Gmail SMTP username: Your full Gmail address (e.g. username@gmail.com).
4. Gmail SMTP password: App Password (the one you should have created as indicated above).
5. Secure connection: Off

6. Click on the Save button on the down right corner.
