Job Match Statuses

This guide explains the meaning of each job match status and what action (if any) is required from the user.

1. Ready to Apply

What it means:
The job match is fully prepared for submission (via email or form).

What the user should do:
Select the job and click Apply.
The platform will complete the application in the background. No additional input is required.

2. Extension Supported

What it means:
The job supports auto-application through the browser extension.

What the user should do:

  • Ensure the browser extension is installed

  • Confirm they are logged into the correct platform account

  • Trigger the extension from the job page

3. Questions Pending

What it means:
Required application questions must be completed before submission.

What the user should do:

  • Click the job match to answer missing questions
     OR

  • Open the Questions tab to answer multiple questions at once

4. Submitting

What it means:
The application is currently being processed.

What the user should do:
Refresh the page periodically to check for updates.

5. Applied Automatically

What it means:
The platform successfully submitted the application.

What the user should do:
 Nothing. The application is complete.

6. Email Sent

What it means:
An application email was automatically sent to the employer.

What the user should do:

  • Check your inbox for replies

  • Monitor spam/junk folders

7. Applied Externally

What it means:
You manually applied on the external job board. This status logs that action.

What the user should do:
Nothing further - this is for tracking purposes only.

8. External Apply Required

What it means:
The job requires manual application on the company’s website.

What the user should do:
Click the original job link and apply directly on the employer’s site.

9. Already Applied / Email Already Sent

What it means:
LoopCV has applied to this company within the last 6 months.
To protect user credibility, LoopCV does not apply more than once to the same company within a 6-month period.

Difference between the two labels:

Already Applied refers to form-based submissions

Email Already Sent refers to email-based submissions

What the user should do:
Nothing further - this is for tracking purposes only.

10. Expired

What it means:
The original job post is no longer available.

What the user should do:
No action is possible unless the job is reposted.

11. Failed

What it means:
The platform attempted to apply but was unsuccessful.

Possible reasons:

  • The job post expired during submission

  • A technical error occurred

  • The external platform changed during submission

What the user should do:
Reach out to us at support@loopcv.com or click the original job link and apply manually.
